Experimentation spaces

The validation of transportation and logistics solutions is a vital step in the innovation continuum.

Access to technological showcases or test sites requires a great deal of effort on the part of companies and slows down the implementation of innovations.

And yet, Quebec is brimming with a many and varied experimentation spaces that offer a variety of conditions and environments to validate these solutions.

The CIM thus created a network of experimentation partners to make it easier for companies to access spaces throughout the province. All this while supporting experimentation partners with a structured and robust process.

What is an experimentation space?

Experimentation spaces can be:

  • Public or private properties where certain types of projects are authorized

  • Operational contexts that allow for the implementation of certain types of solutions

  • Spaces for the co-creation of projects and solutions with users or citizens (living lab)

  • Simulated or real-time digital spaces

They are all coordinated and managed by a partner. The nature of the projects that can be carried out is regulated by the experimentation charter specific to each space.

Experimentation spaces will be announced here soon. Stay tuned!
